BallroomSync helps you organize and play music. It does not grant you any rights in the music itself.
Playing recorded music for a class, event, or any public setting is generally a public performance that requires licensing from performing rights organizations (e.g. ASCAP, BMI, SESAC in the US, or the equivalent in your country), and a personal Spotify / YouTube / Apple Music subscription is for personal use only — it does not cover public performance.
Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate public-performance and any mechanical/streaming licenses for the way you use music in your studio is your responsibility as the operator of the space, not ours. By using BallroomSync you confirm you have, or will obtain, the licenses your usage requires.
